Unfortunately, my stay at Kayo's terminated within 10 minutes of arriving. We arrived to a home that is in complete disrepair, the floors under the table in front are rotten and were covered up with foam mats to hide problem, unsafe for walking on. The staircase is not like picture and more like a ladder (half your foot fits on) and the railing and bannisters are loose and unreliable to hold onto in the event you fall on these steep stairs (very unsafe for children). The rooms had no proper bedding to them and basically exposed to the mattress and no pillows in the rooms upstairs. There is no running hot water in the vanity sinks upstairs (didn't even check to see if hot water anywhere else). The washing machine is on the roof outside a sliding window where they also display a "balcony" in the photos. This is not a balcony, but a wood platform put on a rotting roof and covered up with siding and is unsafe. They wouldn't refund, must spend time now going through airbnb.

We had a great time in Kayo’s place. It’s a typical japanese town house, with more space than expected from the pictures.

As expected. Old but nice house with all amenities listed. Good location if you have a car. The host was very responsive and proactive. Thank you!
