Blue Gum House was designed for peace and quiet. Set on 2,000 square metres, Blue Gum House is a modern, spacious home that backs onto bushland filled with wildlife. Sit quietly and you will hear cows on neighbouring farmland , leaves rustling in the trees and the little robins, gallahs and rosellas that call Bundanoon home. "The best Southern Highlands accommodation, hands down" - Jacqui The house has a large living room and dining room, separated by a double sided gas fire. The kitchen has a deep island bench, perfect for cooking and casual dining. The dining table seats 6. The three full-sized bedrooms contain new mattresses and beds, plenty of storage and seating. Bedroom One has a king-sized bed while Bedroom Two and Three have queen beds. There are 2.5 bathrooms, a deep bath and 2 separate showers. Blue Gum House is a passive solar home, built using concrete panels that protect the inside of the house from the weather outside. If the house is generally kept closed, it will stay warm in winter and cool in summer without needing additional heating or cooling. It's like magic! Additional heating and cooling options are available if required. The library is the perfect place for getting work done. The bookshelves are full of books covering a wide range of topics. There is a deep leather recliner ideal for reading or napping. The wide desk has plenty of outlets for charging laptops and devices. The backyard contains a terrace with BBQ, a grassed courtyard and the bush garden is full of stunning native flora and a firepit surrounded by sandstone seating. There is a fast type 2 EV charger free for guests to use. Keep an eye out in the early morning or late afternoon for kangaroos that move through the bushland and occasionally pop into the backyard to say Hi.

Wow 👏🏼 Blue Gum House is an incredible Airbnb. The house is larger than the photos show, it’s incredibly spacious for 6 adults. There was more than enough amenities for 6 adults, pantry was well stocked with staples, necessary toiletries and enough wood for the fire pit! Rachel was a very responsive and helpful host, with quick replies and clear instructions throughout. Highly recommend this wonderful house!
Blue gum house was everything we hoped for and more. The photos whilst gorgeous do not do the home justice. It is incredibly spacious, beautifully designed and the attention to detail meticulous. Rachel is a stellar host that has thought of every comfort to make the stay extra special. The best Southern Highlands accommodation hands down.
Blue Gum House was quite honestly the best airbnb we have ever stayed in - in fact the photos look great but it is even better in reality and needs to be seen to be believed. So calm, inspiring, creative and special at the same time. Rachel has created the most beautiful inviting space and the finishes and feeling of the house is like nothing else. We have already rebooked our next stay after our first night there as we loved it that much. Thank you for being a wonderful host too!

Gorgeous home! The place was perfect for a holiday in the Southern Highlands. The house was pristine and had all the necessities; plus more! I loved living in such a charming home surrounded by beautiful bushlands and cozy cafes. I will definitely be coming back during my next holiday.

Blue Gum House sits on the very edge of Bundanoon and is a 30 second walk to farmland; cows, kangaroos, horses and goats!
Our neighbourhood is quite tight-knit and our neighbours value their peace and quiet. We encourage our guests to be considerate of that.
Bring your bikes! Bundanoon is a little village and perfect for getting around on bikes. There are lots of quiet country roads that are fun to explore.
Blue Gum House has a type 2 EV fast Charger and Guests are welcome to charge their electric vehicles during their stay.
