Unwind at any time of year in the glorious Essex countryside. Situated 2 miles down a country lane, just outside the beautiful village of Stebbing, our cosy apartment offers peace, tranquillity and country walks. Located in the cart lodge (a few hundred metres from the main house) amidst 6 acres of privately owned land, our 1 bedroom guest suite provides sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Conveniently located 20 minutes drive from Stansted Airport The 2 room guest suite is situated in the eaves of our cart lodge and comprises of a separate lbedroom with kingsized bed and second room with a kitchenette, dining table, guest bed (+1 extra trundle) and shower room. There are stairs up to the apartment and it has it's own entrance.

I have just stay for 1 night at Victoria place and it was amazing. The photo are spot on to what is there. It is in a beautiful quite location. Victoria is a brilliant host. She was very helpful when help us find fine a takeaway and the food we got was really good. There communication was 100% replied to all my messages really quickly. I would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely return if I need to stay in the area again.

Our property is perfectly located for keen walkers and cyclists looking for a quiet rural experience or those who want a quiet night before a flight out of Stansted Airport
Our historic village of Stebbing is a 5 minute drive down an idyllic lane (or a lovely rural walk) and has a village shop and a fantastic pub called The White Hart.
Felsted Village is a 12 minute drive away and has an Italian restaurant, a bookshop-coffee shop, a café and a great village shop called Lindsell's.
Great Dunmow town is a 15 minute drive away and has a number of independent retailers including; a butcher, a bakery, pubs and restaurants, opticians and banking services, a jewellers, hair dressers, beauticians, clothing and interiors retailers, a small Co-op and a Tesco supermarket.
Slightly further afield are the historical towns of Thaxted and Saffron Walden and Bishops Stortford which offers main line train services to London and Cambridge.
Our rural location means you will need a form of personal transport to get around. We have safe off street parking for cars or bicycles. The local countryside is very popular with cycling holidays.

We're a happy and loving family of four, living in the idyllic village of Stebbing, Essex. We love to travel, lived in Dubai for 7 years and can't get enough of Asian food. Our family life revolves around our kid's social lives, walking the dogs, gardening, cycle rides and evenings out with friends.
