This was my own home in DC for 15 years, and I loved it. Proud to offer it now as a welcoming and affirming place for all, including LGBTQ+ and allies. Towering end unit corner townhouse directly on Stanton Park. 3 blocks to Capitol and Union Station / metro. Fantastic location. About 2700 square feet, spread out over three huge floors. 30 windows. Gorgeous detail. Built in 1890 as grand residence. Stunning city and park views. Great restaurants literally around the corner. Four bed 2700 square feet, spread out over three huge floors. 30 windows. Terrific views. Tall ceilings. Original wood floors. Walk half block to excellent restaurants. Outstanding highly sought after area. The first floor is one living area, plus dining room, kitchen and half bath (with oversize washer/dryer). The second floor is an informal living room / library, separate office, and bedroom with queen bed. The top floor is the master bedroom with king size high-end tempurpedic bed, a separate dressing room with beautiful Asian antique armoires (plus a great queen size self-inflating air mattress), a third bedroom with queen bed (the dressing room is between the two bedrooms), and a large bath with marble floors and beautiful shower. This is a Capitol Hill Stay property. We are a veteran-owned business, in business since 1997. We have 20 places on Capitol Hill. If this one isn't a good fit please contact us and perhaps we can make other suggestions. We often have availability that may not show up on all booking platforms. This is our sole source of income. We support two extended families - including elderly parents - on this revenue. We also hire local maids, contractors, landscapers, and various tradespeople. A few words about rates: Since every booking is different the rates listed are an approximation. Rates are based on length of stay, specific dates needed, amenities requested, etc. Bookings less than 91 days are subject to the DC lodging tax of 15.95%. If your stay is 91 days or longer you avoid that tax for the entire stay. SINCE EVERY INQUIRY IS DIFFERENT AND THE BIGGEST FACTOR IN PRICE ARE THE SPECIFIC DATES CHOSEN AND LENGTH OF STAY RATES MAY BE HIGHER OR LOWER THAN WHAT IS POSTED. PLEASE INQUIRE SO WE CAN DISCUSS PRIOR TO SENDING A BOOKING REQUEST. Late spring and summer are the 'high season' very high demand months, moreso this year than ever before as this is the first year that many federal agencies and private employers are bring people back to DC, and they are making up for lost productivity during Covid. Most furnished housing providers in DC will only take bookings for three months or longer during these months. We will do shorter stays, but the furnished housing business is usually priced by length of stay (and specific dates chosen). Shorter term stays are at a higher rate. And generally we try to match an incoming booking with an apartment that is available beginning within a week or so of the requested date. For instance if you are seeking a one or two month rental beginning July 1 we would want to match your request with a property available beginning in very late June or July 1 (not leaving more than a couple of days vacant between bookings). If this property about seems to have an availability date that may not match up please contact us to see if we can make a specific suggestion, as sometimes we have availability that isn't showing up on booking platforms. Brian’s place was wonderful. The house has lots of history which makes it more interesting. It’s centrally located in DC. Walking distance from the Capitol and the Library of Congress. It’s also very close to many of the museums in the area. The house has plenty of rooms and space for you and your family. Brian make sure I had all of the information needed before the check in, which is always useful.

Capitol Hill is an outstanding neighborhood. It's historic, charming, and ideally located at the absolute geographic center of DC. Terrific safety, with the US Capitol police patrolling the area. Home to many politicians, media figures, etc. Eastern Market (farmers market and baker/butcher etc) is a few blocks away. Amazing restaurants and lively bars just around the corner!
Three blocks to Union Station red line metro.. Union Station train station is three blocks. Union Station is home to the major sightseeing tours. Capital Bikeshare kiosk is three blocks. We recommend Uber or Lyft to get around the city.
