We never saw our host, but she did respond quickly to our messages. We had our own bathroom right next to our room, The skylight was very nice. The apartment was on the third floor with no elevator. There were two sets of very steep steps and also steep steps to get to our room once we were in the apartment. The L line was close to the apartment, which was very convenient for us.

Had a great stay at Zaharia’s! The privacy upstairs is very nice with the separate bathroom. Our only complaint was the towels were a little smelly and small. She requests your privacy and is very nice to talk to. And her cats are so cute and sweet. Overall had a good stay :)

Zahira was very nice and helpful. And always answerd ours questions quickly. The room and private bathroom were exactly as annouced. Very comfortable and clean. The wifi worked great too. Very close to two subway stations (including the A line that goes to JFK). It was very good for our short stay of only 24h - staying close to a subway line between the airport and Manhatann. But I would say it would be a very convenient and way more affordable option than Manhanttan for longer stays as well.

I was visiting from NJ for a concert at the Barclays Center. Zahira’s place was located a short walk to the subway. Zahira was a great host, too! Communicative and responsive to our questions! The Airbnb was very clean, and comfortable and perfect for me and my boyfriend, since we were just staying the one night. Would definitely recommend!
