Vicki and Akinsola were great with communication. The building is beautiful and very secure. It was a bit hard for our bolt driver to find the first day but after that it was fine. The pool was unusable the first few days as it hadn’t been cleaned yet. The inside looked just as the pictures other than prior guests have really abused the furniture in every room. Fingerprints on the couches, dining stools, headboards of the beds and benches in the bedrooms. It is of no fault of Vicky. The color scheme is very light and with that, it’s going to get dirty with use. I would suggest putting slip covers or getting the furniture cleaned. Anytime we had issues with power, it was rectified pretty quickly with a quick call to Akinsola. We couldn’t figure out the heaters in the bathrooms to get warm water so we warmed water with a kettle that ended up not working but replaced a few days later. Kenneth (I think that is his name), a young man that helped when any issues came up, was great.

Vicki & Akinsola were a great hosts. Being my first time in Nigeria they were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. They took their time to help me out on every occasion and were available promptly whenever I had questions. I enjoyed my stay at The Ambiance. It was comfortable, very tidy, lovely and equipped with everything I needed for my stay; made me feel at home. I would return the next time I’m in Nigeria!
