The title "Vironas Politia" means "a small town in the city" and is mainly literal, since we are talking about a small town in the city of Vironas. A fairytale city, with beautiful colors, picturesque corners, objects from the past, and all this with the most modern and neat mood. A seemingly simple shop that has "worn" its sets and has been transformed into a city but old, with wooden doors, antique inscriptions and stone walls. A city that has its own yard, its own restaurant, its own tsipouro restaurant, its own cafe, and its private terrace.
Also, within 8 minutes (800 meters) walking distance you can reach "Melina Mercouri Open Air Theatre". It is one of the most famous open-air theaters in Athens, in summer it accommodates international and Greek artists, mainly signers, and ancient tragedies like Oedipus Rex (Oedipus Tyrannus) written by Sophocles.

After exploring our neighborhood, the next big thing should be a volta around the Acropolis area where all the sightseeings are.
Within 10 minutes of driving distance, you will reach Kallimarmaro. The Panathenaic Stadium, or Kallimarmaro, is a multi-purpose stadium in Athens, Greece. One of the main historic attractions of Athens, it is the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble! A stadium was built on the site of a simple racecourse by the Athenian statesman Lykourgos (Lycurgus) c. 330 BC. The stadium hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the first modern Olympics in 1896 and was used for various purposes in the 20th century. Once again, it was used as an Olympic venue in 2004, and it is the finishing point for the annual Athens Classic Marathon. It is also the last venue in Greece from where the Olympic flame handover ceremony to the host nation takes place.
