Watch kaka fly overhead - enjoy the peace and view of the harbour minutes from central Wellington. Light and bright, with modern furniture, comfy beds, immaculate new bathrooms, kitchen and laundry. We use this as our home from home so you'll find our personal touches - a few kids toys - spaces to work upstairs in the bedrooms - or at the dining room table in the sun!

Polly’s home was in a great location close to the city and airport, making it super convenient to get around. The photos don’t do her home justice and Polly was really responsive!
Fantastic stay - four weeks plus went by really quickly and the house became a home away from home. It's well furnished and kitchen was very well equipped abd views and the morepork were a bonus. Most of all, Polly was very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

Newtown is a central Wellington village full of wonderful hospitality options and a diverse community. You have central Wellington with all it has to offer within reach, and you''ll also be handy to supermarkets and the Kilbirnie aquatic centre. Other nearby attractions include Wellington Zoo, Weta Workshop and beaches in all directions (Lyall Bay and Haitaitai beach are closest). Te Awaroa - the trail that runs the length of Aotearoa is your doorstep so you can step out of the house and walk or ride through the "town belt" up to Mount Victoria.
With a dedicated parking space and plenty of on street parking in a quiet street, you've got lots of options. You are 3 minutes walk from the bus stop, within walking distance of Newtown and Kilbirnie, 9 minutes by car from Wellington Airport. You can enjoy Wellington's growing mountain biking network or just walk go for a walk on trails which run right past your doorstep.
