Welcome to your restorative oceanfront getaway in beautiful Union Bay just minutes outside of the Comox Valley. You will enter the property through a sweet, fully fenced and private yard. From here you enter the house and are immediately greeted by stunning ocean views looking out to Denman Island through the sitting/dining area. You can access the huge cedar deck through the French doors off the front of the dining area. On the deck, you will find an outdoor dining area and comfortable patio furniture. All overlooking the breathtaking 180• views of the coastal range and Denman and Tree Island. Off the front of the deck, you can access the lower yard, private beach (in front of the The Union House) and wood-fired barrel sauna. From the dining/entry area, you will take a right into the fully stocked kitchen, equipped with high-end appliances, ocean views, and everything you need to create a beautiful feast. From the kitchen, you will enter the cozy and comfortable living space that features a vintage record player, lots of ocean-view windows, TV, games and luxe natural fibre throw blankets and pillows. Through a large open-style doorway, you enter the den space. That’s perfect for a cozy storm-watching night and is also the third sleeping room in the house. It is open to the living space but tucked away at the back of the house making it mostly private and super cozy. Across the hall from the den is the main floor bedroom featuring a comfortable queen-sized bed facing into the upper garden. Down the hall you will find a well laid out three-piece bathroom featuring a deep and luxurious soaker tub. The master suite is located on the upper floor loft space. A plush queen bed is in the centre of the room overlooking the water and Denman Island. There is an open-concept closet and a window bench to enjoy a morning coffee while watching sea lions swim and eagles over the water. Also in the loft is a designated work/art space featuring a hand-crafted live edge desk where you can take in the views (and maybe get some work done too, MAYBE). The master ensuite is a cozy loft-style three-piece bath with a shower that will blow your mind! We're talking spa-quality water pressure! All of the three beds feature 100% cotton high thread count linens and a mixture of low and high-profile pillow options. All of the rooms in the house are adorned with live plants and cozy lighting. The wood-fired sauna completes your restorative stay with a natural stone path leading into the ocean for a cold plunge. The indoor and outdoor living spaces flow together beautifully and allow you to enjoy the magnificence of Baynes Sound. Enjoy watching sea lions, otters, eagles and even orca whales from the deck, beach and most rooms of the house!
