Get out into Manitoba's lake country for fishing, hiking, bird watching, biking, beach days or simply relaxing with a good book any time of the year. Next to marina and minutes from main beach and trails. Ample parking, bedding & towels provided and so much more. Our cozy little cottage is a two bedroom with a pull out couch in the living room area. Best suited for four people, it is capable of sleeping 6. All new construction and finishes. Walking distance to the marina, trails and beach. Great fishing, biking trails and walking trails. Grindstone is 26 km off #8 Hwy, after Riverton, but before the Hecla cozway begins. Turn left at the Grindstone road sign and follow for 26 km. Grindstone has a general store (hours will vary), and five sub divisions, with 510 cottages this area is surprisingly quiet and not commercialized. Two beaches and one marina. You can drive to Hecla for golf and lots of other things to do if you are looking for a day trip. Our cottage is winterized and very popular area to ice fish as well. Winter activities such as snowmobiling, ice fishing, cross country ski trails, snow shoeing or staying in by the wood stove. Grindstone is a provincial park and requires park passes available on line. Also no off road vehicles allowed in the park other than the late fall and winter, park rules, not ours.
