Great place to stay, close to port. Friendly and proactive staff. Great views and even better food. I arrived late on the ferry and the staff went above and beyond to allow me to pitch my tent for a few hours before the sun rose and wait around for the room to be ready. Walkable into central Nkhata Bay and easy to get a taxi to Mzuzu. Would highly recommend!

Great value for money, great food, great hosts, and great location right on the lake. It is a new place with few reviews, but fear ye not, it is a 10/10 place. Food is the best ive had in a long time, and the bar/lobby has a great view and nice atmosphere. We had a room on the lake itself and you wake up hearing and seeing lake malawi right outside your window. There are compost toilets in the cabin we rented, and they didnt smell at all and were a joy to use. The hosts organized an event with a big bonfire and local drum artists, which was great - and free, and made this a perfect end to our stay. They can help organize activities. They also helped us organize transport on very short notice, so hats off to them. Chefs food is excellent. Empanadas low price and delicious, as well as a very tasty burger, shakshouka, english breakfast ++. Pizza and other things looked nice but i didnt try! This 5star review will probably be the first of many to come.
