We spent a few days over the new year at Mariette's cottage with our 2 sons. Everyone had a great time. The cottage is in beautiful surroundings and steps away from a private beach. It is very peaceful. Mariette kindly organised for us to buy fish to cook on the BBQ. We will definitely return when we are in Chinteche again.

just now and then ypu want a secluded place,in the shade of huge trees. the small beach is a couple steps away. really enjoyed the opportunity to rest her,have a small kitchen and just soak in the warm waters of Lake Malawi.

Very cozy and quiet place. The private beach and view is amazing. It is a quaint cottage and decor with a some unique wooden furniture and items from Nkhotakota Pottery. Marietta is very responsive and kept checking on us.

Hidden away under mango trees, a comfortable cottage steps away from the beach. Neighbours and visitors are passing through there once in a while, using the lawn in front of the cottage as a shortcut, but it still is very private and a great place to relax. Well equipped kitchen, friendly staff. Happy to return!
