Great place to stay at an affordable rate, close to Gore. Living room was a little dim at night but that wasn’t really a problem. Nice to have the cozy spaces and separation for the bedrooms. Also a plus for the pet friendliness! You wouldn’t have been able to tell based on how clean it was. One note is beware of the pinesap outside! Had to shave the pups paws because of how gunked up they got.

My husband and I, as well as our friend and his family of 4 (plus 2 small dogs), absolutely loved staying at Stacy’s cozy cabin! It was easy to find, had everything we needed, and clean enough for a perfectionist/germaphobic guest to feel right at home in. The living space on the first floor was such a nice surprise that provided me and my husband some privacy and a quiet retreat to decompress after a long day out. Only downside was that the fireplace wasn’t working, but we were notified in advance and found that the heating was sufficient. We are already talking about coming back again next winter! Plenty of things to do in the dead of winter unlike other towns we’ve visited in the past. Highly recommend exploring Lake Placid and grabbing a bite at The Adirondack Mountain Cafe for brunch (the trout and pancakes were amazing)! We can’t wait to come back and stay at Stacy’s again!

My husband and I (and pup) had a great stay at Stacy’s place! Very quiet/peaceful location, only about a 20-30 min beautiful scenic drive to Lake Placid. About 10 minute drive to Whiteface. Super easy check in and check out. Would definitely stay again!

Stacy was extremely helpful supportive check in. The home was cozy and peaceful. A great home for a holiday getaway!
