My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience staying at Judith’s place. We got to kayak around the serene lake and spend time in Acadia (a short drive away). Judith was a great host that was responsive and even build a camp fire for us. Would definitely recommend this place for others to stay and hope to be able to come back in the future.

This was my second visit to Judith's beautiful home. This time my husband and I celebrated our anniversary while there. Judith had wine, cheese, and crackers to celebrate! Of course Acadia was a must visit again, but just hanging out on the dock and kayaking were our favorite pastimes. On our last night, Judith even had a bonfire going with all the makings of s'mores. If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful getaway, this is the place for you!

Amazing gem in Ellsworth. Tucked away from scores of tourists in Bar Harbor but still accessible to lots of great hikes and restaurants near Acadia. The lake house as we learned was made by Judith herself for family and it's clearly maintained with a lot of love to be as special as it is. We felt lucky to be there and invited to enjoy the lake with the fire pit, paddle boards and kayaks just as she would have her family do!

Magical stay if you like quiet purity and natural beauty... wished I had been able to stay longer. The loft smells like new clean cut pine, is roomy and homey, and the lake large, clean and unspoiled as well as the woods. Generous kind host.

Judith's peaceful lakefront peaceful getaway is a slice of heaven. She was wonderful in so many ways and stayed in contact as our stay approached. The experience only improved from there. Judith is a wonderful host, her dog Willow is incredibly sweet, and the lakefront is absolutely gorgeous. The loft itself was built using trees from the property so be sure to take a look at the album to learn about its history. If that weren't enough, Judith allows guests to use her kayaks and paddle boards which saves on having to bring your own gear. The lake is pristine and we were so fortunate have some sunshine to enjoy the vistas. The cherry on the top is when Judith offers to start a fire so our crew can enjoy making S'mores. It just doesn't get better than that. The property is about 40 minutes from Acadia but it is so nice to be away from the crowds. And, the loft was so comfy! Thank you Judith!!!
