We loved our stay, it is a beautiful, quiet location, with spectacular views. The beds were comfy and kitchen well equipped. Kirk & Karen were fabulous hosts.

We had a wonderful week long stay at Hilltop Cottage. The cottage was well set up with everything we needed as a family of 4 and the view from the deck and the outdoor baths were stunning. The location of the cottage is well placed to explore the local beaches and the nearest large grocery store is just up the road. Thanks Kirk and Karen for being such kind and gracious hosts!

We loved our stay at hilltop cottage ! Definitely a recommend for a get away , not much privacy but you do feel that holiday vibe , amazing view and house was gobsmacked perfect ! Definitely a place I could return to for another trip away Thank you Kirk & Karen

My family and I were looking for a secluded spot and the Hilltop cottage filled the bill perfectly. Quiet, views for Africa and an awesome place to just chill out. Bathroom a tad on the compact size but still very usable. Facilities wise had everything we needed and then Opotiki is just 10 minutes down the road. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.
