Pros-The host was very responsive & pleasant. The location wasn’t bad & it was very quiet. Cons-The only way into the house is up about 30+ narrow, poorly lit steep steps. This place is not handicapped friendly to get into & of course not inside either. It smelled like sewage which I think came from the bottom floor bathroom. The place really isn’t clean. The kitchen just barely looked wiped down. The guest bedroom’s curtains are sheer & when I went to close the curtain it fell down because of how it was rigged up there. Everything felt & looked dingy. The furniture had several stain’s/tears & honestly it looked like they went to a garage sell of a fraternity house & just threw whatever they found for $3 in the house. I wouldn’t feel safe going on the balcony. This house has a lot of character and a lot of potential if the owners would fork over some money to fix it up.

Pool is great, train to city is close by and there are good restaurants and shops within a 10 minute drive.

There were no previous reviews for this property, so I took a chance on the house. It has a big pool and is in a peaceful area, but the home had several issues. For ex, the kitchen stove is on a slant so when you open the oven door, anything hot slides out towards you. The house has some maintenance problems (like plumbing - the master bathroom toilet had consistent flushing issues.) There is also no kitchen table inside. The only place to eat is outside and if it rains, you are stuck on a couch or barstool. The guest contact is friendly and responsive. But the main problem was a lack of cleanliness. The fridge had grime on it, the cabinets were stained and full of expired foods, the downstairs toilet had not been cleaned and in general, surfaces and areas lacked basic sanitation. I contacted Evolve (with photos) to refund my $400+ cleaning fee, but they stopped communication with me which tarnished the entire experience. But with tuning up and a deep clean, the home has potential.

Overall great stay, great hot tub and extremely peaceful get away from the city. Very spacious and amazing rest at the house, will definitely recommend to others and will be looking to book again. The host was very helpful and responsive as well.

Exactly what I was looking for! The pictures don’t do it justice, it feels like a personal resort - PA style. Watching the sunrise over the patio/garden every morning was incredible. My girlfriend and I spent 90% of our time poolside or in the jacuzzi, as there was nothing to stop us from taking a dip at, say, 3AM. We saw chipmunks playing around the pool a few times, plus tons of birds! You can curl up in the home theater & watch movies on the dual screen TV. Or visit one of the dozens of amazing bars/restaurants in Conshohocken, King of Prussia, or Philly - all within a 10-20 minute drive! I’d recommend Guppy’s, Andy’s Diner, and the Great American Pub. There are also a ton of local delivery options available on DoorDash. Our guest contact, Carl, is awesome & was very helpful & responsive throughout our stay. He drove over 30mins to help us when we had trouble figuring out the jacuzzi/waterfall features & even helped set up the two theater TVS into one HUGE TV. We’ll be back!
