Not sure where to start really. We arrived in the evening; staff immediately asked us to order breakfast for next morning (3 options on menu!) and left the property. Didn’t feel welcome at all. The villa smelled of damp; two beds had dirty bedding; floor covered with dust and dead bugs; sticky glasses; I could go on! Far away from resort standards and what you are paying for! What you see on the pictures is not accurate - the “resort” needs a proper renovation as most of the things are not useable (covered with rubbish or broken). The host made staff clean our villa the next day. She was very apologetic and agreed to partial refund. We left one day early and lost 3 days of holidays being there. We never had such bad experience in Asia. On our check out we had to jump through the window as there was no one at the reception and doors were locked. Sadly, this was the only memorable part of our stay. Don’t waste your money or time.

Kalanggaman Island is known for its clear blue waters, white pulverulent sand, and its elongated sandbars that surround both sides of the majestic island.
