To be fair, the weather did not cooperate with us on this trip. It rained all day on Thursday, for our six-hour trip up to Door Co. It rained off and on Friday. Hardly any rain on Saturday (but overcast). Then Rain on Sunday all the way home. We did fill Saturday with a lot of activities. We especially enjoyed the Jack-o-Lantern day in Fish Creek on Saturday.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Kent & Gwen’s cabin. We never tired of watching the sunrise on Lake Europe and sitting around the fire pit at night. The hosts have great taste and decorated the cabin a modern Americana style. It’s charming and functional! We traveled with our three young children, and Gwen made sure we had everything we needed for our infant. It was incredibly helpful to have the high chair and other baby items already in the cabin when we arrived! Additionally, the location was great for exploring northern Door. We highly recommend this cabin!

We had a great time at the Lake View Lodge! Being right on Europe Lake was so peaceful and provided great night sky views. Kent and Gwen provided great instructions and recommendations. The boat and bonfire amenities were a huge plus!
