This memorable place is anything but ordinary. The medieval barn was converted to a family home 26years ago - open plan living with limestone floors and underfloor heating offer a contemporary and comfortable vibe . The garden is completely enclosed and the views over the Bristol Channel to Exmoor are spectacular.

We absolutely loved our stay at Alice’s quirky place! Gorgeous setting- loads to do within walking distance and in the afternoons we loved relaxing in her beautiful garden! Great for kids- we’ll definitively be back!
A brilliant, quirky AirBnB set on the outskirts of the wonderful unspoilt village of Berrynarbor yet with sea and countryside views. Alice could not have been more helpful.
Top Shippon was the perfect place to stay for our group attending a wedding at nearby Sandy Cove Hotel. A beautiful, warm & welcoming farm house, surrounded by fields filled with new lambs, and with unbelievable views down to the ocean. Less than 5 minute walk to join the SW Coastal Path which is stunning in both directions for miles & miles. Would highly recommend staying for a long time to check out all North Devon has to offer!
We had a wonderful holiday, the property was in a beautiful, quiet location. There was plenty to do locally for adults and children. Alice was such a friendly host and her place was really lovely. Thank you for having us!
Amazing views, homely and spacious place. Close to lots of beautiful places. Loved the kitchen. We were there in feb and the bedrooms were very very cold so crank the heating up upstairs and pack warm clothes if you visit in winter! Besides that it was absolutely wonderful

Top Shippon is a barn conversion on the courtyard of a medieval farm on the edge of the village of Berrynarbor, a lovely village with coastal views at the western point of Exmoor.
There is an active local community who own and run the local shop which stocks everything you might need for your stay and is within walking distance.
There are also two pubs within walking distance .
The spectacular "Broadsands" beach is a short walk away but be prepared to negotiate some steep steps and check the tide timetable as it is only accessible at low tide .
Watermouth Castle ( great for young children) and harbour are just down the road.
