We had a wonderful stay at Carole and Scott’s, truly felt like a home away from home. Lots of space and every room felt private, great spacious garden and the nighttime view of the stars from the hot tub was incredible! Carole was very responsive and very generous, great host. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

We were going to a wedding at Sandy Cove and this was the perfect place to stay for the trip! As well as being just a 2min walk from the hotel, the house is so lovely and homey, and has everything you could possibly need. Carole was a great host too!

We have just returned from a wonderful few days in North Devon. Hillcrest was a lovely base as we could walk to have dinner at the beautiful Sandy Cove Hotel and also walk to the beautiful Broadsands beach (note that it’s a steep climb up/down steps to the beach but well worth it especially at low tide when you can see more of the beach). There were also lots of great places to visit a short drive away. The house itself was perfect too - spotlessly clean, very warm and welcoming and with a well stocked kitchen that meant we weren’t ever hunting around for anything and could make the most of the time we had there. We particularly appreciated the Prosecco in the fridge on arrival and chocolates! The hot tub was also a great place to relax after exploring the area. Thank you so much!

Hillcrest was such a beautiful cottage. We got married at Sandy Cove whilst staying at the cottage. It was such an ideal base before, during and after the wedding. It was just such an idyllic location and beautiful surrounds. Can’t wait to be back in North Devon. It was purely magical. Thank you so much.

Really nice bungalow in great location, very responsive and friendly host, beautiful beach nearby (Broadsands). Only downside for us was not being able to use the hot tub due to rainy weather.
