This cottage is part of the Bull Point Lighthouse site, just outside the pretty village of Mortehoe in North Devon. The property features a comfortable sitting room with electric feature fireplace and an open-plan kitchen/dining room. In association with Trinity House, we are pleased to present Sherrin at Bull Point Lighthouse. Sherrin, sleeping five guests is one of four refurbished former lighthouse keepers' cottages at the lighthouse which lies just outside of Mortehoe in North Devon. The nearby village of Mortehoe is a very pretty village with good pubs and restaurants, fish and chips, stores and a delicatessen. Nearby places to visit include Woolacombe with its Blue Flag sandy beach which is only a 10-minute drive from Bull Point. Also available to book on this site are Warden, sleeping two guests, Siren, sleeping five guests and Triton, sleeping four guests. Additional Information: This lighthouse does not have a fog signal. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). Travel cot and highchair available on request. The perimeter of the site is fully fenced and gated but once outside this area, it is very dangerous for children staying at the holiday cottage. Please ensure children are supervised at all times. Very limited mobile signal. A telephone with honesty box is provided. Given the remote locations of our cottages the Wi-Fi speed and availability cannot be guaranteed at this site The service offered is for light browsing and occasional use, services such as streaming and gaming may not be possible owing to the speeds obtainable. Guests are reminded they are renting a heritage building, therefore certain features such as steps, stairs and floor levels may not comply with that of a modern building. As such, we would advise guests to acquaint themselves with the premises on arrival and exercise caution accordingly. Guests should be aware that the lighthouses and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance. Therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur at any time during the year. However, staff will do their best to ensure guest privacy at all times. Access roads to the lighthouse site are narrow with limited passing places and, dependent on the season and site, there is the possibility of overhanging vegetation due to cutting restrictions during bird breeding seasons or other environmental reasons. A barbecue is not provided, however guests are welcome to bring their own, subject to adhering to the safety precautions set out in the arrival information. Sorry, no fireworks, drones or remote controlled flying equipment are permitted. Sorry, charging of electric cars is not permitted.
