Mortehoe · 整套乡村小屋 · 2室3床2.0卫 · 可住4人 · 2 bedroom cottage in the heart of Mortehoe, Devon
Mortehoe is a beautiful national trust village on the North Coast of Devon, spotted in between the sand-dune hills behind Morte Point, it’s within walking distance of Woolacombe and close to Lee Bay. It's known as the gateway to a wild, remote coast with a rich history of wrecking and smuggling, and offers something for everyone; top surf, amazing walks (we are located on the SW Coastal path), kayaking or cycling -with an abundance of wildlife, if you’re lucky you’ll spot a sunbathing seal! Mortehoe has been close to our hearts for some years and when we spotted Park Cottage for sale and in need of some TLC, we decided to invest our pennies in a renovation project and our first holiday let. This is a beautiful part of the country and we hope you enjoy it as much as us. Mortehoe is a bustling little village with two pubs, a church, gorgeous couple of cafés with tea gardens, well stocked village stores and post office, a takeaway offering a range of home cooked healthy meals, and a fish and chip shop. The village has a children’s park and plenty of wide-open spaces to enjoy. We are pleased to offer short breaks with a 3 nights min stay. During peak season our min stay is 7 nights Parking: Once you have unloaded, parking is in the village car park on Station Road EX34 7DT, a two minute stroll from the cottage.
This is a beautifully maintained, gorgeous, traditional North Devon cottage built from local flint in the heart of Mortehoe, a picturesque coastal village. Accommodation is excellent - clean, stylish, comfortable and well laid out. Location is excellent - the village is surrounded by National Trust owned heathland and you can be out on Morte Point on the way to the stunningly beautiful cliff walks in 5 minutes on foot. And the village pub is across the road. There is also easy access to a variety of beaches from sandy surfer's choice, Woollacombe, to Barricane Beach with its shells and rockpools. Then back to the cottage to relax by the wood-burning stove. Recommended.
Fantastic cottage, beautiful decor and very spacious. Great enclosed garden for the dog. Location was brilliant so close to the coastal path. Not stayed in an airbnb closer than this one to a lovely pub with good food ! All in all thoroughly recommend
We’ve just come back from a wonderful week at Park Cottage! The house is beautifully designed and decorated and really spacious for a family of four plus a dog. It felt like a home from home and a haven to return to after long days out. We loved the central village location and the ability to walk straight out of the door onto the headland and/or down to the beach. Mortehoe is a picturesque village with some great local amenities and not far from larger towns where you can stock up on supplies and find other options to eat out. We were really lucky with the weather so spent most afternoons exploring the local beaches - The Lees, Saunton sands, Croyde and obviously Woolacombe. If you enjoy rock-pooling, dune-surfing, beach walks and chasing waves you won’t be disappointed! We loved it all and would highly recommend Mortehoe and a stay at Park Cottage.
This is a wonderfully located cottage right in the heart of Mortehoe. It’s so homely but also big for a cottage which was great! It’s well stocked with plates, cutlery, pans etc and close to everything you need. Parking at the local car park was accessible and we got weekly Rover pass for £25.

Debbie and I have been business partners and friends for over 20 years - we both have a passion for the sea and with our young families we spend a lot of time in Devon and Cornwall exploring the coast and having fun in the surf. We have 2 beautiful Seascape Hideaways at Mortehoe and at Port Isaac. We look forward to welcoming you x
