Located in the Heart of Santa Catalina village, this newly remodeled Panamanian style home inspires comfort and relaxation. The interior is designed with an open floor plan that connects to the outdoors, so that you can truly experience tropical living. Enjoy the privacy of an entire home while being within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and town beach. Our home is perfect for Scuba Dive enthusiasts or Surfers in search of great waves. The greatest feature of this space is the LARGE and fully equipped kitchen inspired by Cedric's French culture and Italian roots! Enjoy eating a homemade meal around the island or under the string of lights on the back patio with garden and jungle views. Relax in the cozy living room on the L-shaped couch and with the new Smart TV connected to highspeed Wifi (500Mb) and more than 200 TV channels. Next to the living room is the guest bathroom which features the original and funky surfboard entrance to the hot water shower. Sleep comfortably and stay cool in each bedroom that offers queen-size mattresses, new A/C units and ceiling fans. The primary bedroom includes a workspace with an office desk and an Indonesian inspired ensuite bathroom. Sip your morning coffee or tea on the back patio complete with couches, fans, and an alfresco dining table for 6. On the front patio you'll find a rock garden view and laundry room with washer and dryer for your convenience. Although the house is centrally located in town, the garden provides a feeling of disconnect from the local street life. There's nothing minimalist about this home. You will find small details everywhere, new appliances and find that the home has been fully furnished with your comfort in mind. Santa Catalina is in a remote place far from the stores of a city, so we hope you will enjoy all the conveniences provided.

Bien placé Très bien équipe Fonctionnel Pas le moins cher mais certainement le mieux équipé. Il y a vraiment tout comme à la maison. Fontaine à eau. Ustensiles de cuisine. Congélateur. Tapis de yoga. Lave linge sèche linge. Bon internet. TV connectée. Petit cadeau de bienvenu. Etc … etc …
Increíble!!!! La casa es un gustazo, está muy bien equipada y con una vibra genial. Hay unos detalles buenísimos. 100% recomendado. Muchas gracias!!
Cedric und Elena sind sehr freundliche und coole Gastgeber, die wirklich an alles gedacht haben. In dem Checkbuch war jede Information, die man brauchte zB: wo kommt der Müll hin, wer bietet welche Aktivität an, welche Restaurants gibt es… sie fragen auch nach, ob sie bei irgendetwas noch helfen können. Als wir in die Wohnung kamen, stand ein gefüllter Obstkorb bereit, im Bad wurden u.a. Sun Blocker und After Sun Lotion bereitgestellt. Die Wohnung mit der Terrasse ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, lauter kleine Nettigkeiten. Geräusche von der Straße sind nicht zu hören, es ist ruhig. Dennoch beginnt das Leben direkt vor dem Tor des Grundstücks. Man ist quasi sofort im Geschehen. Wir würden sehr gern wiederkommen und Cedric als Gastgeber auch jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Es war traumhaft in Santa Catalina Downtown.
Simply, Cedric and Elena are the best hosts Airbnb has to offer. Their authentic enthusiasm and knowledge of the local culture/community was such a treat. Immediately upon arrival, I felt right at home and well-oriented. I greatly appreciate the effort the hosts put into guidebook, which was filled with excellent information and recommendations. We were made aware of local events, e.g., La Feria de Sona, which was so much fun. I departed Santa Catalina a new man after a month stay. Wonderful location offering the simple life, great surf, and a back-in-time experience.

Safe and local neighborhood, with friendly neighbors on either side. The house is also near the only elementary school and Evangelical church in town. You may hear the church singing prayers or the school kids going to and from school.

I have left France and my research job in 2008 and have spent nearly 6 years in South West Asia getting trained in Diving. In 2014, I arrived in Santa Catalina, Panama and fell in love with Coiba National Park and the town itself. After 13 years working as a dive instructor, I am now getting more involved in property management and renting our own home too. I am French, my fiancé Elena is Peruvian-American, and we met here in Santa Catalina.
