The Creek house was amazing! We stayed for a week with my mom and dad, our three children (11, 9, and 4) and our two-year old golden retriever. The kids loved the ping pong and pool tables and the long, paved driveway was great for them to ride their bikes back and forth. The hike down to the creek, though steep, was lovely and peaceful, and the kids loved splashing in the water and sending small "boats" made of bark and sticks down the current. The secluded area surrounding the house was beautiful, and each time we drove up the driveway we were mesmerized by the tall trees and beautiful forest. Sandy, the owner, was so helpful and responsive to any requests we had. She even mailed back a set of clothes one of my kids left behind. The house itself was exceptionally clean and inviting. The furniture and decor were lovely. The beds were comfortable and all of us slept well every night. Showers were hot, and even with the seven of us we never ran out of hot water.

We had a wonderful weekend stay here! There was so much room for the kids to run around and play, and everything was just as described! Definitely recommend!!

Sandy's place here was incredible. My family and I were in town for a baseball tournament in Richmond and this was perfect for us. Very secluded and private. Would definitely recommend and book again if we're ever in the area again.

This is a perfect place for a family reunion. We were using it for work, but the way the house is laid out, the yard and fun activities in the home make it a fun destination. Sandy was an amazing host! Very helpful with helping us receive deliveries that were important to our work. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. A pleasure to stay here.

We rented this house for our extended family to stay for Thanksgiving. We were 9 adults, two teens, and one infant for 5 nights. The house is like a vacation house in the mountains. You could not pick a more beautiful spot in this area. The house overlooks a forested hillside with a trail leading to a creek. There is deck space and outdoor patio for grilling and eating also. The variety/combination of bed types made it possible to have a lot of options when deciding who would sleep where. All of the rooms were comfortable and quiet and the baby who stayed in the master suite with his parents was never wakened by noise from the den or elsewhere. They would have been fine downstairs also. The kitchen had all of the supplies needed for cooking and eating for a large group. Some of the appliances are a little outdated, but they work fine. The dining table easily seated 9 or 10. The pool and pingpong table and huge outdoor space gave lots of options for family recreation.
