The charm and character of the South is palpable when walking through the house with restored original hardwood floors and exposed fireplaces. The place was beautiful and hosts were always responsive and super helpful! We traveled with a large girl group, and so think it’s safe to say our favorite part was that everybody had their own bathroom which made it super helpful when getting ready to go out! We really rally enjoyed our stay.
This was an absolutely beautiful home and was wonderful for our big family of 13. We even have twin babies and Michael and Marcia made sure to provide us two portacribs for our stay. The house was beautiful and we loved all of the amenities, especially the pool and spa, which was also easy to program and use. This location is walking distance to all the fun stuff; the French quarter is just about 1.5 mile walk and there are other restaurants, a market, and a lot of museums within half a mile. The only downfall is you are super close to an underpass where there is a lot of homeless activity and two cars got broken into while we were there. But the property has protected parking and felt very safe no less. Just something you really can't avoid these days in any major city, I guess. Thank you for hosting us! It was absolutely wonderful!
This is a beautifully renovated 1908 New Orleans. It fits a large group easily and comfortably. The only problem was that maintaining a comfortable temperature for the whole house didn't exist. Bedrooms and downstairs floor would be very cold while another bedroom sweltered. Property manager and HVAC worker came out but there was no solution while we were there. I am sure they are working on getting this fixed. There is a great selection of places to eat and drink all within walking distance. I would recommend Rouse's Market for a grocery store, Maiis Arepas to eat at, Ecology Beer Creation for beer and a nice setting (is 1 1/2 blocks away) and a delicious bakery that just opened up is a 10 min walk away- Bearcat Baked, and French Truck Coffee is also a 10 min walk away. Staying in the house added to whole feeling of being in New Orleans, a place filled with history and best cheer.
This home was above & beyond our expectations! It was gorgeous, very comfortable & perfect for our group! We spent some quality time with our host Michael, a fine young man. He shared his future plans with us for the immediate future. He showed us the other gorgeous homes for rent next door & has plans for more. A perfect area for several families to enjoy a wedding celebration or family reunion, all next door to each other with a choice of adjoining gardens. Each home is impeccably decorated! We will definitely stay in his properties next time we are in New Orleans! Thank you Marcia & Michael for your warm hospitality & sharing your AB& B with us!

The house is conveniently located central to all the attractions in New Orleans. A five-minute walk to downtown, 10 minute car ride to the French Quarter and walking distance to many local restaurants and shops, you can properly enjoy the city. We are located three blocks from the famous Saint Charles Streetcar which can take you all the way from Audubon Park & Zoo to the French Quarter.
The area is walkable to many restaurants, bars and shops, however, taxis and ride shares are also a great way to get around. This home is 2 blocks from the St. Charles historic trolley that can be a fun way of getting around all the way from Audubon Park to the other side of the French Quarter. Should you be traveling with a car, this house has two gated parking spaces and plenty of street parking around the city.
