We had a great visit to the West, TX area for the eclipse (totality!). I booked 6 months ahead and I seriously appreciated that there was no price gouging. Jennifer was very friendly, responsive, and flexible the whole time. We added on an extra night last minute, and she had no trouble sending that booking quickly and without a ton of extra fees. It’s legit a cool dome house with a nice big front yard, and even though you can see/hear the highway, it was not bothersome at all, it was very peaceful. We sat out front most of the time, taking in the nature and the sky. And of course, it was really interesting to stay in a dome house!

IY is a great pass through place just off the highway. A cool house that is clean quiet and comfy. Its a long way to restaurants and you are right by a highway si for us it was OKlocationbut if your looking for a quiet country setting this aint it. But if I35 has wore you out its a great place to rest and get on down the road.
