Great stay for 9 guests. The house is beautiful. The Taos Love team gave us a helpful tour of the house at check in, including reviewing instructions for using the fireplaces. The hot tub was great and we loved all of the options for making coffee. It was an easy drive to Taos Ski Valley.
La Dona Estate is a beautiful southwestern luxurious home situated in the foothills of the Sange de Cristo mountains about 1 mile outside of downtown Taos. My five friends and I rented it this past week for a weeklong ski vacation. The home is spacious and very comfortable for a large group. There are plenty of gathering places inside and out. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a day of skiing or sitting on the back patio watching the sunset enjoying a glass of wine. The kitchen is very nice with new Viking appliances. The dining room is spacious for a large group. We had a wonderful stay at La Dona Estate and would gladly book again.
The most magical Place I’ve stayed in New Mexico . This estate exceeded all expectations, the environment is spacious yet cozy, with the fireplaces and great furnishings I didn’t want to leave. I especially loved the hiking just out the front door and right into the forest. I also appreciated the privacy of the estate and its closeness to town, it’s actually a lovely 1 mile walk to town which is the perfect distance for a little exercise to great restaurants. We spent one day at the ski mountain which was a short and beautiful drive and visited the Taos Pueblo which one shouldn’t miss. I can’t wait to return and have another joy filled weekend at La Doña.
We had a 8 person girls ski trip to Taos. This home was perfect to accompany all of us comfortably. Everything was very clean and well appointed. The property manager met us and provided a walk through of the house and checked in with us through the stay. As a bonus, Kate has a beautiful art collection we enjoyed perusing. Highly recommend this home.

It’s a wonderful easy walk to town! There are beautiful hikes into the Kit Carson Forest right out the front door! Check out the art galleries on Kit Carson road & also visit Kit Carson’s home!! World cup coffee, The John Dunn shops and more!
There is plenty of private parking on property. The best way to get around is by car or walking.
