I felt right at home at Wilson’s place. Beautifully decorated second floor room and your own bathroom adjacent. The views are spectacular in this peaceful, woodsy location. Wilson provided suggestions for dining out and information about the town of Hurley/Kingston. He is very welcoming and easy to converse with. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay with Wilson after a 5 year hiatus. His home is not the typical AirBnB. You live with Wilson which may be not everyone’s cup of tea. But I believe you are missing out on an invaluable experience to engage, if desired, with a national treasure. For Wilson is an nationally acclaimed artist and illustrator. His house is full of rich culture and creativity. And Wilson truly is a better Angel of our nature. The single room is upstairs and yes you will have to carry your bags up one flight. There is no TV. If you need a TV then the Wilson/Catskills are not for you. There is always something to do or some place to visit even in foul weather. His house is not pristine. It is comfortable and has the proper amenities of any home. It is lived in, which for us was like going home to spend time with my family. For my wife snd I, it is the perfect place to get away from the madding crowd and escape to the country.

Wilson is very friendly, communicative and accommodating. We arrived very late due to heavy traffic and unexpected delays caused by an accident on the road and Wilson was very understanding and accommodating to stay up to let us into his house and showing us the room even though by the time we arrived was really late. The instructions for the direction was very clear and it was easy to find the place even at night time. The place is quite spacious and the bed is very comfortable to sleep in throughout two nights we stayed. We really enjoyed our stay and the conversation we had with Wilson at the end of our trip. The places he recommended are legitimately great! I’d recommend anyone to visit Hudson and Kingston Bakery places he recommended! We loved the croissants he prepared for us and I got extra ones to bring back home. Highly recommended this place and would come back and stay again the next time we come to Kingston.

The room was spacious, had lovely natural light in the day and was nicely decorated. Wilson made sure we had what we needed to feel comfortable. There is a mini-fridge, a small table to dine at and a space to make some toast and coffee. The backyard was amazing! It was great to spend time outside as the weather was great. My small dog joined as well and definitely enjoyed being able to safely explore nature without a leash.
