Three bedroom house (sleeps 4-6) close to the amenities of Herne Hill (10 minute walk) and Brixton (15-20 min walk) Downstairs: Large kitchen/family room space with an island that seats 5 people and a snug sofa area with TV. Kitchen includes two single ovens, five burner gas hob, large American style fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The small garden is accessed via bi fold doors off the kitchen. Living room with two sofas, TV, PS 4 and plenty of books! Dining room with large glass dining table which seats six. Kitchen TV has access to SKY (including Sky Cinema, Sky Kids and all Sky Sports channels) and both TVs are also signed into Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Prime which you’re welcome to use during your stay. Downstairs WC. Upstairs: Three bedrooms; one super king size bed and two small doubles. The small doubles maybe a little tight for two adults but would comfortable sleep an adult or two children. All rooms have clothes storage and desk spaces. Shower room with large walk in shower and sky light. One well behaved dog is very welcome to join you for your stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this accomodation. It was lovely to enjoy our days in London and then calm back to a peaceful, calm and clean setting. I would definitely return.
Excellent séjour chez Sarah. Le logement est fonctionnel pour six personnes. Très spacieux bien qu’un peu excentré. Je recommande vivement pour une famille.
Really good stay at Sarah’s place. We had train strikes over the weekend so we wanted to change dates and Sarah was very accommodating even with check in/out times. My kids loved the ‘holiday house’ it was very homely and you could easily spend time in there rather than go out. Good location, Herne Hill is a lovely little place with good pubs, cafes, Sunday markets and a park, Brixton only a 10 minute walk away and we really enjoyed the places to eat there. Thanks Sarah, if we return to London we will stay here again!
House was perfect for our stay, which was for myself, my two sons and their girlfriends. Lovely family home feel about the place with every facility we needed. Sarah was really flexible for check-in and check-out that was appreciated. Would love to stay again if the need to be in the area arrises.

The house is located between Brixton and Herne Hill to allow for the best of both worlds!
Herne Hill (10 min walk) is a lovely leafy area with great restaurants and cafes. There is a excellent farmers market on a Sunday. Brockwell Park is at the bottom of the road with its Lido swimming pool, tennis courts, walled garden and duck ponds. Herne Hill train station allows fast access to Victoria (10 mins) and Blackfriars (15mins) where you can visit the southbank and the Tate Modern.
Brixton (15-20 min walk) is an amazing multicultural hub with a great covered market, bars, pubs and clubs. There is also some high street shopping with an M&S and a H&M. Brixton tube station is on the Victoria line meaning you can be in Oxford street in 10 mins on the tube with access to all the shops central London provides!
Parking on the road is permit holder only Mon- Fri but I can provide visitor permits if arranged in advance. These cost £10 per day. There are two lamppost electric vehicle chargers available on the street which you can use with the permit. A full charge costs c. £25
In addition to Herne Hill Station and Brixton Tube the area is well served by bus routes
