Pop’s Country Cabin is a small remote cabin that sits 1/2mile off the road above a 5 acre lake on 77 acres of private land. The view from the front porch is amazing! You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

This place is absolutely magical! It’s everything you can look for in a secluded air bnb. It was the perfect spot for my wife … our two year old and I! Book now and I promise you will fall in love!

This was exactly what my husband and I needed. We loved Tony’s cabin. Very clean and the owners were very attentive. He was wonderful and easy to get a hold of. The cabin was super clean and they thought of everything. So peaceful and relaxing. Also perfect location to go to trails and wineries. Loved having coffee on the porch looking over beautiful scenery. Can’t wait to come back.

The cabin is about 1/2 mile up a gravel lane. The hill the cabin sits on is steep but a car can make it up no problem. If it snows I will have it bladed.
