The house was exactly as described and a beautiful peaceful location. Walking distance to a fantastic beach and some of the islands best snorkelling with 2 wrecks in the shallows and the ability to the Pillars of Hercules. The house and linens were very clean and we appreciated the house cleaner coming 1/2 way through our 9 day visit. The pool was delightful where we spent many hours. We loved hearing the music from Shirley Heights (shuts down by 8), and the beach bar (shuts down early too). Kitchen had all the amenities we could need, and we spent many hours at the outdoor table at night playing games. The beds were very comfortable and loved the spaces. Plenty of outdoor seating areas with cushions. I would highly recommend, and meeting June and Bruce at check in made us feel comfortable, safe and right at home.

Our family of five so enjoyed our stay in this home from home feel villa with its stunning position overlooking English Harbour. The highlights are the hammock/day bed chill area and the little pool perfect for cooling off. There aren’t many facilities on Galleon Beach at the moment so it was good to have hired a car to pop to the shops/restaurants nearby and explore the island. The hosts gave us plenty of good tips on places to visit and practicalities. Would highly recommend.

Calypso Villa... What an experience.! We arrived in the dark to Bruce And June. two of the most welcoming people you would ever want to great you. After we settled in and grabbed our first cocktail, there was a great view overlooking the harbor with the twinkle of the lights. This being our third trip to the lovely island I was so excited for our family of first timers to see the curtain open in the morning to really enjoy the views in which I knew were coming. Then it was off to Galleon Beach. The report from AquaScott (brother-in-law) was its like being in an aquarium. Hiking was great! The pillars were great! The eats in English Harbor were delish. The views were ones that can only be created by God. If you are really looking to visit Antigua and are looking to be in a peaceful place with all of the above mentioned than Calypso Villa is the spot. Thank you Bruce and June! We look forward to seeing you soon and perhaps being you neighbors. ☺️
