In fact, the previous owner of the recently sold Ritz-Carlton-Dorado Beach is going to develop a boutique hotel on this beach that is even higher and then the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach (if you can believe it). While prices to stay within the confines of Dorado Beach are between 3000-$8000/night, and, to be honest, the place is overcrowded and the locals jokingly refer to the "golf cart traffic jams", this location is much quieter, more peaceful, yet with all the same amenities, except you don't have to pay a huge extra fee to be a part of the country club, and there is also no golf course on the premises although golf courses are all around the North Shore of Puerto Rico.
