Had a great stay at the Toas Mountain Home, was nice and private, set back off the road with a great view of the mountain side. Conveniently located close to downtown Toas and short drives to many hiking areas. Mitchell was very responsive to any concerns that came up and had great recommendations to places to eat and see. I would say it was nearly perfect except there was a super strong sulfur smell in the shower that, for me and my bf, was not bearable. I will say I have a strong sense of smell and for some it may not bother. We were informed that it was perfectly safe to shower and drink, just coming from the natural well water, it was just too strong for us to continue to use. We managed and it was still a very enjoyable place to get away. Would recommend for a cozy getaway from the city.

What a gorgeous space!! 😍😍 The views are epic! The cabin is so cute and so wonderfully appointed with collectibles I spent lots of time taking in. Such great touches! Definitely a woman’s touch in there. The balconies made our trip! We were there for only a couple of night so wasn’t a deal breaker for us but for some reason the hot water smells strongly of sulphur. My mom and I skipped showers for two days and my brother took a very cold one on day two after day one’s shower had the place smelling funky. I feel bad saying anything because Mitchell is truly so nice and you can see such pride of ownership in this gorgeous space. The mattress I had was a bit lopsided so perhaps flipping it would work. We didn’t make any changes as we were trying out best to treat the space very respectfully and abide by all the notes around the house. But again: The views - chef’s kiss! 🙏😊

Great house with wonderful southwestern furnishings. Especially loved the sunroom with Mountain Views. Very comfortable. Excellent hiking nearby, as well as museums and cultural activities.

The views were breathtaking! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Mitch is also a super-host.

This place feels remote but so close to town. The location is perfect if you want to explore Angel Fire, Red River and Taos ski valley. The cabin is cozy and the kitchen is stocked with all necessities. The views from the sunroom and deck are amazing!
