Robert was very gracious in letting us reschedule after some of our family members got COVID. We were so happy with the space and had a great weekend! Wish we could have stayed longer!

I’m giving them 3 stars and that’s me being nice. The first two days were awful- check in was at 4pm and the house wasn’t clean. Everything was left behind from the previous people who stayed. And we couldn’t enter the home till after 9pm after driving since 4am from Texas. Then we couldn’t shower because there was NO hot water. We ended boiling water on the stove for 8 people to be able to shower for the first two days. Also, we were not able to use the oven because it didn’t work. After communicating with the host- she tried her best to accommodate us. However it was very disappointing to come to a house like this. The house is a beautiful home. Just keep in mind that you won’t have hot water for 8 people. You might have hot water for 3 people and that’s a 5-7 min shower. I hate to even type this on here but I don’t recommend to stay at this cabin unless they fix their water heater.

We really enjoyed our stay here! This was a really nice and cozy cabin with lots of couches and natural light. It’s not too far down the road from downtown Taos and is in a pretty spot. The beds were quite comfy but just be aware that the pullout couches were a bit rough and were in areas where there were big south facing windows with no shades.

Initially, we booked the house for 3 nights for 5 guests, and when we added another family of 4, we were charged an extra $381. On arrival, the house was inaccessible due to the foot and a half of snow covering the driveway. It looked like no one had visited the property in awhile. This caused our cars to be stuck and it took 1.5 hrs for 2 people from our party shoveling snow to get them free. After we brought this to our host’s attention she said “you should have had a 4WD vehicle.” Once we cleared the driveway our front wheel vehicles worked fine and we had no issues driving anywhere else, even to the ski place during heavy snow. Multiple outlets did not work. Oven was full of grease. Beds were rock hard. The shower only had enough hot water for two people. The host did not prepare this home for 9 people, even though we paid extra. We asked for the extra $381 that we spent back as compensation but the host said that wouldn’t be “equitable”for them & gave us $150 back of the $1400.
