The villa was amazing, very unassuming as you approach but in heaven once you walk through those glass gates. The pool is great size compared to what you usually get and the whole pool area was designed impeccably, from the sun bed to the bbq and dining area, the TV outside with speakers all around, just perfect. Indoors the house had an amazing artistic flair, almost like visiting a celebrity musicians home. The rooms are spacious, well designed and had all the amenities. Vamnos is beautiful little village, great bakeries and restaurants, a few small shops and petrol station. I definitely recommend driving, you get to see more of the surrounding areas like the closest beach which is 10 mins drive. The communication was great, Peter the owner was easy to communicate with, left a lot of info at the property, Natalia the cleaner was local and readily available for anything we needed. Overall we had an amazing time and couldn't recommend the property more.

Vamos er en hyggelig liten landsby som er et godt utgangspunkt for turer rundt om på øya. Den lokale restauranten er fantastisk! Huset er fint og ligger i en skjermet gate. God plass til 6 personer.

A lovely villa with a few first world problems. Overall White Lotus was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is in a lovely location and all of the bedrooms are modern, spacious and well equipped with en suite toilets and showers. The downstairs space is great for a family and the balcony works wells for meals with wonderful views, especially at sunset. Our kids loved the pool which is big enough for a good splash around. The first world problems were minor. The bedsheets were too small, so all constantly came off. The air con in all the rooms worked, but wasn't powerful enough to make it particularly cool at night in some of the upstairs rooms (although we were there mid August so it was particularly hot). Some of the blinds, curtains and picture frames could do with fixing/replacing and the beds by the pool had no curtains for shade (we made our own with towels). As I say, first word problem and none of this should put you off! We were at the villa for a family holiday for two weeks with eight of us and we all really enjoyed it. The villa is in a good location within Vamous, which is a village with lots of lovely tavernas within walking distance. A car is a must for trips to a series of great beaches within a 15-20 minute drive. Chania old town is also well worth a trip (about 45 minutes away in a car). Despite what we were told in advance, driving in Crete is no problem. The roads are good and other drivers are generally very considerate. I would suggest hiring a smaller car (some of the roads are very narrow). We had limited interaction with the host, but he was available and responded quickly when required.

We had a great time at the lovely villa in the center of the beautiful little village of Vamos. The Villa is perfect to relax and chill at the pool as group. The Check-In is super easy and the communication with Eftichis is just perfect. He is super responsive. We would come back :)
