My family of 6+our Chaweenie enjoyed our stay at Wes' place. We had plenty of room to sleep with the 3 separate bedrooms. The location is right off the main road so it can be a bit noisy at night but very close to everything you need as far as groceries and restaurants. Also a walkable local produce stand on the corner. There are many state parks to visit in the area, one of our favorites being Hurricane Creek Park is a must see. Keep in mind Wes is still renovating this very old home, so if anything is not to your liking, let Wes know as he answers immediately to any issues his guests are having. Please keep in mind this home shares a driveway and does not have a fenced in yard if you bring your dog and no sidewalks for walking. This isn't something that stops us from bringing our dog since we planned on visiting local parks. We all enjoyed the ping pong table especially my 12 yo. This place was a really great deal to be able to enjoy an affordable trip with my family and dog.
