Casa Macu consists of 4 independent bungalows that can be rented separately or combined. This combination includes 2 bungalows, it has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 8 people. It's a spacious place designed for surf lovers; ideal for families, friends, or couples traveling together. Discover the paradise of surfing and relaxation. Located just a few steps from the surf break, this architectural gem combines a passion for surfing with modern comforts. This arrangement includes 2 bungalows at Casa Macu; each of them has two bedrooms. Both bungalows have a private outdoor patio with a wooden deck with a plunge pool to cool off, relax and enjoy social moments. With the double heights and high ceilings, you'll feel a sense of spaciousness and elegance from the entrance. The natural light creates a cozy and vibrant atmosphere. Our kitchen stocked with quality cookware and state-of-the-art appliances is perfect for the cooking enthusiast. All bedrooms have an incredible comfortable King bed. The master bedrooms, with an en-suite bathroom, are a sanctuary of tranquility.

Casa Macu was perfect for our visit time in Saladita! Johanni and team were so responsive and helpful, truly went above and beyond for us! We will absolutely be back!
Me sorprendió La Saladita como destino y llegar a Casa Macu fue la mejor opción. Las casas y los espacios están impecables. Johana fue la mejor anfitriona y sus recomendaciones muy atinadas. Para surfistas, es un gran lugar para practicar e incluso aprender. Nos encantó el ambiente de los locales y comimos delicioso en todos los lugares. Me encantaría regresar a Casa Macu de nuevo.
Our experience was truly delightful, and would def recommend to any friends or family. Its proximity to the beach offers the perfect balance between accessibility and serene privacy. We loved the high ceilings, minimal design, and the plunge pool is sooo nice to relax and cool off after a surf. The bedrooms provided an oasis of tranquility, contributing to restful and rejuvenating sleep throughout our stay, with very beautiful light throughout. Each of the 4 units have their own Starlink connection, which we were able to easily stay connected, make work phone/video calls while we were there. (speeds 100mbps+) Also what a bonus to have such a advanced filtered water system. (5 step osmosis). It was great not to have to worry about buying water bottles or 5 gal jugs.
La casa tiene un diseño increíble muy contemporáneo minimalista. Muy agradable la estancia y las instalaciones muy bonitas! Definitivamente cuando regrese a la saladita ahi me hospedaré! Altamente recomendable

La Saladita offers one of the best surf spots in the world; its waves are consistent throughout the year. It is an exceptional place for both beginners and advanced surfers, since in the surroundings there are a great variety of waves for all levels.
Where to eat at La Saladita:
a) Lourdes by LOOT (in front of the surf point)
b) Benny's (next to Jacqueline's houses)
c) Oli (on one side of the access to the fishermen's boats)
d) Ilianet (towards the houses furthest from the surf point)
e) Marejada (Jorge and Paty) has delicious hamburgers.
f) El Chilaquil (Paty and Jorge) amazing food beachfront (IG elchilaquil_saladita)
g) Marea (A place in front of the surf point to eat and drink (there are pizzas).
h) Barracuda House (IG Barracuda House)
i) Hacienda Coffee & Tea (IG surfcity_mx)
... My favorite place to eat is in Troncones (15-20 min drive from Saladita) called Lo Sereno (IG losereno_casadeplaya)

La Saladita is a walkable community. Restaurants and the surf spot are close to Casa Macu and it is not necessary to rent a car.
If you want to buy things to eat you can stop at the supermarket in Zihuatanejo (Mega Soriana, near the airport) or once you are in the area, buy basic things in the stores of the nearest town (Los Llanos).
If your level of surfing is intermediate or advanced, renting a car will allow you to visit other nearby surf spots.
For taxi service, ask for the contact number. Casa Macu has a preferential rate for transfers from the airport to La Saladita, as well as a car rental company that offers a very good service.
