Nestled in a picturesque setting, this comfortable and stylishly decorated retreat accommodates up to 4 guests and boasts a unique and captivating feature: a mesmerizing waterfall in the backyard. The highlight of our property is the amazing waterfall in the backyard running under the house, creating a soothing natural soundtrack. Frontward, you"ll be greeted by breathtaking water views, enhancing your sense of serenity. Please note, the waterfall is a natural feature and is most impressive after rainfall. Nature lovers can explore nearby national parks, where bushwalking trails beckon you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Australian wilderness. Come and experience the perfect blend of nature"s beauty and modern comfort in our Horsefield Bay retreat. Your tranquil get-a-way awaits. As this home is being offered as a short-term rental, we kindly ask our guests to familiarise themselves with the short-term rental code of conduct, in particular part 2.5 which refers to the rights and obligations of the guest. This will help ensure your stay is enjoyed without interruption. House Rules: - We have a strict no party policy and ask that our neighbours be considered at all times please keep noise to a minimum, especially when using the outdoor areas - No more than 4 additional visitors to enter the property without permission - Visitors must depart before 10pm - Number of guests sleeping at the property must not exceed that on the booking request - Please keep noise to a minimum between 10 PM 8 AM - Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property - Pets are strictly not permitted at this property

Kylie was very quick and responsive during the booking process and during our stay. The house itself cool and contemporary. Nice setting. Minimalist. Clean. It suited are needs perfectly on short notice.
It is amazing how this modern house sits so well with the beautiful nature. This is a very unique experience for my family. We had a wonderful time.

The property has picturesque surroundings; not many places feature a backyard waterfall viewable from all rooms of the house. However, a light sleeper will not fare well when it rains, as the main bedroom is situated next to the waterfall and water plummets to the rocks below under medium/heavy rainfall. The host was very lovely and easy to communicate with; they offered an early check-in unprompted. The house has a lot of potential but needs some love and attention. For the most part, it was not unclean, but on arrival, unfortunately, one toilet had not been cleaned for what appeared to be quite some time. The water was brown as someone had not flushed. In addition, the bath plug does not function and bathrooms do not have power outlets. The location is a little remote, so a car is necessary. There are many mosquitoes at this time of year due to the wet/damp surroundings and stagnant water plus foliage, and sadly we couldn’t sit outside.
I didn’t mind staying there. The views were nice, it was a little out of the way, but no real issue. The amenities were nice, the kitchen was fantastic. Definitely one I’d use for cooking if entertaining. Almost everything was as described. However, I wouldn’t have stayed had I not know the master bedroom did not have ducted. It was listed as having it, however, there’s only a split system in the lounge room, and a central (behind the ceiling) heating system to the bedrooms. It is not reverse system ducted. The cooling of the system is passive in nature only. Given we only book places to with AC, we were very let down by this, particularly because we turned down a much nicer place on the central coast because it didn’t have AC. All in all, not too bad, but because of the lack of active cooling in the master I wouldn’t return. Instructions to get in were clear, and we were offered a late checkout for no reason. Would recommend for those that don’t need ac to sleep. :)
