WOW. Just wow!! This idyllic retreat on the banks of the Tamar river is such a special place. The home is warm, welcoming, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Everything you can want is there, including games for the kids and a woodfire for the adults to curl up with a glass of wine. The house is surrounded by wildlife - our kids (3yo and 7yo) loved waking up every morning to watch the pademelons, echidnas and wallabies. The adults loved the amazing location - close to the wineries, dairies, chocolate factories, etc etc etc of the Tamar Valley, and lots to do with young children. And we all loved our perfect base in Kayena (and just didn't leave it some days!) Thank you Nina, for a very special stay. Highly recommended.

We had a great time here. Good place for glow worm caves, wine tasting, and National Parks. It was clean, had essentials and resources, a beautiful view and plenty of wildlife! Our daughters loved sharing the bunk bed room and could barely sleep with a pademelon out their window :)

Nina’s house is the perfect location to explore the Tamar Valley. We loved watching sunrise over the river view and were lucky enough to have wildlife in the backyard which our kids loved. Everything you could need in the kitchen for cooking your meals including good chef knives (thanks Nina). Nina is a very responsive host and kindly even provided a baby chair for our son to make our stay more comfortable. Thanks again
