A regular bus service to Ilfracombe, Barnstaple & Woolacombe Beach stops just outside the park which has its own laundrette & a developing shop. Adjacent, The Depot restaurant offers all-day dining. Upon entering 6 Atlantic Crescent, the hallway opens into an open plan living/dining/kitchen space, enjoying extensive views over the surrounding countryside & coast. The well equipped kitchen provides for all your needs with fridge/freezer, gas hob & electric oven, microwave, coffee maker & dish-washer. After sharing a meal round the four seater dining table, snuggle up on sofas to watch films on the Smart TV. The two bedrooms offer flexibility for families or friends: one twin & one double with en-suite shower. The family bathroom is equipped with shower over bath & WC. Towels and linen are provided. Decking outside the lodge houses garden furniture to enjoy alfresco dining & one car parking space is provided next to the lodge. Dogs are welcome on request only and charges may apply. If you are looking for a bargain price, to stay a ten minutes drive from Woolacombe beach, and close to Braunton for a large Tescos supermarket, then this is your place. There’s a pub right next door for food and drink too. We were too tired to eat out, but you can grab a pizza takeaway from the pub and bring it back. We only stayed one night, we had been previously staying at Woolacombe Bay holiday park and we just weren’t ready to go home, so we tagged an extra night onto our weekend. This lodge has everything you need, there’s books and games and DVDs. It’s perfectly clean and tidy and accessible to everywhere you would want to visit.
The property was clean! And a lovely place to stay! Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Good location to travel to illfracrombe beaches and woolacombe as we well.
Worth the stay, beautifully designed space that makes your feel like you are right at home
Place was clean, plenty of space. Only negative was it was in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do without driving somewhere. However, we knew this before we got there and it was a good central spot for getting to local attractions.
