Crablake Farmhouse sits outside Exminster and can sleep 12 in six bedrooms. This large, detached farmhouse has a kitchen with an electric rangemaster cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler, a shared utility/boot room with washing machine, a dining room with seating for 12 and a woodburner, and a sitting room with smart TV. The bedrooms consist of three super king-sizes, a super king-size zip/link, a twin, and a ground-floor double bedroom with en-suite shower room, along with two bathrooms and two cloakrooms. The large garden has lawn, patio and furniture, and there is off-road parking for five cars. Within 1 mile, there is a shop, and within 0.9, a pub. One well-behaved dog is welcome; however, no smoking. Dogs must be kept on leads when in the grounds due to livestock. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The farmhouse was absolutely gorgeous - a totally stunning location, the house itself looked just liked the pictures and the gardens, if anything, looked even better! It was the perfect spot for a chilled long weekend with the family (and friends!) and there was loads of space for everyone. The kitchen was a great place for everyone to meet, but the lounge, games room and bedrooms offered plenty of placed to chill otherwise. Really well appointed and a super comfortable stay. Nicely tucked away and peaceful, although will local enough to get food to be delivered. Really happy with our stay, the owner was lovely on the odd occasion when the passed, and couldn't really have asked for more.
One of the best places we have ever stayed! Homely, warm, stunning and great size for a family gathering. Everything was just bliss! We didn't want to leave!
A beautiful house and perfect for our family get together. Lots of space for everyone with lovely gardens which were secure for the little grandchildren. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and we loved the wood burning stove. The formal dining room was perfect for our dine in chef experience. This was a winter getaway but would love to go back again in the summer to enjoy the bbq facilities and outdoor eating experience as well as the garden and croquet on the lawn. A fantastic place to stay.
I was here with a few friends and we had a great time. The house is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. The hosts were helpful and allowed us to take our time checking out.

Exminster is a lovely, rural community in Devon, nestled between Powderham and Exeter. The 14th-century red sandstone church, walks along the river Exe, RSPB Exminster and Powderham Marshes, and Powderham Castle, a 14th-century castle rich with antiques and tapestries, are just a few of the attractions. The Royal Oak Inn and Swans Nest are excellent dining options, and you can stock up at the nearby supermarket. The town of Topsham, the cathedral city of Exeter, and Dartmoor National Park are all nearby.
