We had such a wonderful time staying with Alex and Dora, their place was beautiful. it was so lovely to have the chickens coming to say hello every day, going for amazing walks through the Forrest to then come back to a sauna and a lovely outside area with a fire pit, the bedroom was lovely and warm and felt so cozy and peaceful xx we heard about 6/7 owls on ne night right by us, never heard anything like it before xx they were amazing hosts and we are so grateful for them having us there, was a perfect get away and can't recommend them enough. thank you so much for such an incredible place to stay xx

This was a perfect night away for my daughter and I: we loved the sauna which was really hot (and I like it hot!), and then we had a brilliant evening cooking our dinner over the fire and watching the flames. We also enjoyed the nosy chickens. But it is important to understand what you’re booking. This is glamping with a very comfortable mattress and a heater and electricity, but the cold shower and composting toilet won’t be for everyone. The kitchen is very basic and could do with a washing up bowl, but it’s good value and thanks to the really helpful hosts and the fire and especially the sauna (do book in advance and give them 2 hours to heat it up) we thought it was wonderful! Thanks for the welcome and we hope to come again.

We had a wonderful time staying here surrounded by beautiful woodland with great walks in every direction.

Good value for money, in the woods, lovely walks around, nice hosts, cool sauna, fun experience, would recommend for a short stay (highly recommend if you like glamping) but no fridge for food and no lock on bedroom door.

Amazing place. Better than the pictures. Great way to spend a couple nights away!
