Lafayette square has the largest collection of renovated victorian houses in America and this is one of them. Dating to 1876, this cozy hotel offers quality amenities. Napoleon's Retreat is an Inn with 3 units. This unit is called the Burguny Room. Guests will have access to a shared living room, dinning room and full kitchen on the ground level. All the private suites are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Each room is equipped with a private bath, queen size bed, tv, coffee bar and mini fridge. The room sleeps two in the queen bed, however we are able to provide a cot to sleep a third person.

We loved staying in this historic home near Lafayette Square! The entire house is beautiful, spacious, and clean, including the outside courtyard. We had everything we needed in our room, including a comfortable bed, a desk, extra towels, smart tv, a mini fridge and microwave, and a station for coffee and other drinks. Matthew was super responsive and helpful before and during our stay, and even provided a guest cot for a friend who stayed with us one night. Parking was super easy and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful while accessible to the highway.

Charming space in historic home. The neighborhood has a great vibe. Located down the block from Lafayette Park. We were very comfortable here.

Historic Lafayette Park (only one block away) is as tranquil as it is rich in history. At the North East end of the park is a walking block of restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, wine bars, and dessert bars. And all of this is conveniently only a 5-minute drive to downtown, a 9-minute drive to St Louis County, and seconds away from major highways.
