Three-bedroom cottage in the centre of Saffron Walden As you enter the property, you’ll immediately see the cosy living room with a two-seater sofa, armchair and television. Through to the back of the house is a brand new kitchen-diner, complete with oven, induction hob and washing machine. Outside is a little patio area with a table and chairs - the perfect place to sit for your morning coffee or evening drinks. First floor The first bedroom has a double bed and beautiful exposed brick wall with a non-working fire place. The recently decorated bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. Towels are provided. The second bedroom has a wardrobe and sofa bed, ideal for a young child. Second floor The third bedroom is a spacious room with a double bed and beautiful view over the garden and neighbouring rooftops.

The house was exactly as described. The Naomi was very helpful, friendly and incredibly fast to answer my queries.
Great location near all the shops and restaurants. Was clean and cosy. Would stay again.
We really enjoyed Naomi's cosy cottage. We loved the snug little lounge, the kitchen had everything we needed, the shower was hot and strong and the beds were comfortable. We liked the narrow little staircases leading up to the bedrooms. The cottage is on a road that gets busy at times but we didn't find the traffic noise intrusive. And it was just over 5 minutes walk into the town centre - full of interesting and high quality shops and cafes. Saffron Walden really is a great little town! Naomi was helpful and responsive throughout and was very flexible in meeting our requests which we really appreciated. We would warmly recommend Naomi as a super host and her lovely characterful house!
We were 2 couples for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay in this charming little cottage, with a good sized, well fitted kitchen, comfortable beds and very pleasant decor. It is as described with low ceilings above the narrow stairs, not a problem unless you're tall! Great location, I would certainly stay again.

Saffron Walden is a lovely little market town in North Essex with plenty to see and do - recently voted best place to live in the East of England!
The market comes to town on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with a variety of stalls from baked goods to children’s clothes.
The stunning Audley End House and Gardens is a must-see and only a five minute walk away.
There are plenty of cafes and pubs to choose from, in particular The Eight Bells offers a delicious menu and is only a short walk away.
Audley End is the local train station with access to Cambridge in 15 minutes and London Liverpool Street in under an hour.
The property is located at the top of the high street and you can walk into the centre of town in two minutes. Everything you need is within walking distance.
Parking
On-street parking directly outside the house is only permitted between 6pm-8am.
Uttlesford District Council car park - 150 yards from the house - offers free parking on Saturdays and Sundays.
There are also two big car parks in the centre of town (Swan Meadow and The Common) which you can pay to use and are very reasonably priced.
