We had a perfect weekend in Miller Cottage. A beautifully renovated home full of character, charm and top quality modern facilities. Helen and Alex clearly go out of their way to ensure a warm welcome with generous treats and amazing, personal attention to detail. The enclosed private garden is ideal for dogs and very pretty. Tucked away in a peaceful lane, the thriving town is a few minutes walk away with an array of independent shops and eateries. Caring hosts and one of the very best cottages we have stayed in. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at Miller Cottage. The pictures truly don't do it justice. Mark and Helen have created a cozy home away from home and put so much thought into every little detail. We were greeted by a welcome basket, including Easter chocolate for our kids and a handwritten Easter card. The rooms are clean and cozy, the kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could need and more. The fresh flowers were a lovely surprise. We have already recommend this Air BnB to friends and would very much like to return one day.

An absolutely perfect Airbnb. The hosts, Helen & Alex, were incredibly friendly, proactive and thoughtful from the outset, messaging us with clear arrival instructions and checking our dietary requirements for a food basket and snacks. They are the loveliest hosts we’ve encountered. When we arrived, the cottage was perfect - beautifully lit, perfectly clean and incredibly cosy. We instantly felt right at home. All of the amenities were of exceptional quality, including the bathroom, which had the best shower and bath, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We loved exploring the fascinating historic village, with so many sights right on the doorstep, and had such a restorative break. We cannot recommend Miller cottage enough and would love to return.

We had a wonderful week at Miller Cottage. It's a really beautiful place, cosy and restful with a great history behind it, and it has been lovingly maintained by the owners. And they put a lot of thought and care into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. It's also greatly situated in the town, you're minutes away from the centre of Saffron Walden. Highly recommended!

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Kitchen, bathroom, all immaculate with everything a visitor might need. Helen and Alex super helpful and communicative. Fantastic location, central but peaceful with so many places within walking distance. Generous breakfast hamper, everything was great quality. We can vouch for previous reviews - this really is a gem, we cannot recommend Miller Cottage enough and would love to return.
