Wavelie’s Watch is a beautifully located house with nice view of both the ocean and Bogue Sound. The ocean is just a few minutes a walk away. We were there for a three day mini-break. The house was squeaky clean, bright, and well equipped. We were a family of 9 and spent a lot of time together in the living/kitchen area on the third floor but it never once felt crowded. The swings added to the fun. The pool was clean and the poolside was very nice. We spent time blissfully reading by the pool side but did not get into the pool it because the water was too cold. Each room has sea view and a sit-out area. The bed linen was fresh and crisp. The bathrooms were very clean and everything worked. Plenty of towels. The kitchen was well stocked with common pantry items. Julie, the host, was super-responsive but unobtrusive. Overall, we had one of the best mini-vacations we have ever had at this beautiful place. I highly recommend it.
