Nestled amid the majestic mountains, Casa Marin offers a serene haven for those seeking tranquility. Surrounded by pristine nature, the atmosphere here is incredibly calming and rejuvenating. The cozy accommodations provide a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm, while the stunning mountain vistas create a sense of awe-inspiring beauty. Whether you're unwinding on the balcony or exploring the nearby trails, every moment at this retreat is a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We will recommend Casa Marin to our friends and family who will look for a quiet and refreshing place. We also want to thank Miss Tanya and her husband for their generosity to us. We also love the food they serve. And the caretakers of the place is also nice and very responsive too. Plus, this place is 2hrs away from the beach (Laiya, San juan), you can plan a day tour in the beach and check in at Casa Marin afterwards. Thank you again Miss Tanya and Sir GP!

nicely built place and the caretaking team was fantastic. very quiet and nicely designed place. good for a retreat and R&R. host will need to do some fine tuning on the facilities such as blown lighting and non working electrical sockets in room etc but i attribute these to minor teething problems that will be resolved once Tanya's team gets more experienced. You definitely need your own transport as the location is rather remote and there are no shops and also no grabcar/grabfood service in the area. All in all highly recommended and a good experience here. Thanks!

Tanya is super accommodating & sent clear details/ friendly reminders /rules Casa Marin - a HIDDEN GEM! cozy place; perfect for weekend getaway/ holiday to bond w/ family & friends calming & serene vibe relaxing ambiance home away from home accesible to LIPA - TAMBO startollway exit WIFI is very fast ( I hold smooth hybrid meeting; online & with in-person participants) Rooms - clean & well-ventilated bed mattresses are orthopedic towels & beddings are of quality; silky, soft,& comfortable I had a very good sleep! Balcony -spacious to celebrate any occasion suitable for board games you can watch Netflix w/ beautiful & scenic lush greenery view Pool - just the right size to enjoy swimming with nice view You can also set-up the bbq grill & have bbq of different kinds. Randy & Josephine (caretakers) -polite & responsive to questions they helped us to carry our bags Randy assisted me well to park on the street in front of the property Thank you Tanya & team! We will surely go back!

Getting There Our drive to Mataas na Kahoy, Casa Marin was a breeze with Waze or Googl. About 2 hours spent driving from BGC with a quick coffee stopover. Long drives are actually useful for family bonding too! Parking was easy as there is a long stretch of road along the property plus the neighbors are quite cheerful, one of them helped me park! You’ll need some assistance if you need to park inside the lot; just let them know. Ammenities First, open; fresh air spaces galore! I loved the sleepy breeze coming from the lush forest; it kind of rocked me to sleep. Theres an arcade machine Very nostalgic for titos and maybe titas too! We played foosball and went trekking. Water, flora and fauna! Nature! Bon fire! Activities Owner, Ms. Tanya was there to greet us personally and was hands on. We caught the her knees down cleaning the floor! Talk about personal touch! We were orientated on activites , the local area, Casa rules. There’s even a life coaching session! Thank you, Tanya!
