Karen's flat was easy to find and suited us very well. We were a little concerned about street parking, as a busy area - but there was always a space when we returned from a day out. The city centre is within easy walking distance - plenty of good shops and restaurants, and for those who like walking, the Titanic Museum is walkable without too much effort. There is an excellent indoor market (open Saturday) about half way to the city centre taking the main road to the east - nearer the river. A must is the Ulster Museum (has a brilliant art exhibition until 02.01.24) and next to it the Botanic Gardens - both free and an easy walk. We found the open top bus tour excellent - but choose a bus with a human guide, rather than the audio ones if you want the humour. These busses leave next to the City Hall. Near the flat there are a number of takeaways and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay at Karen's flat and would happily stay again if we return to Belfast.
