Just 600 metres to the beach where there is a great playground for the kids, swimming area with a swim platform, boat launch, flush toilets in the Community Centre, an open air gazebo with picnic tables and horse shoe pits. Winter activities: ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and a rink with ice skating/hockey. Year round activities: walking, bird watching, night sky for star gazing and northern lights viewing. Fully equipped kitchen with a propane BBQ on the deck. Spices, olive oil, flour, sugar, starter Keurig coffee pods and tea provided. Also food wrap items: aluminum foil, plastic wrap, wax paper and parchment paper, a small rigid cooler and a medium sized soft cooler. There is a fire extinguisher on the wall on the left side of the kitchen counter by the foyer. Living room has a comfortable electric recliner couch, a manual recline rocker, and extra stacking chairs. Entertainment includes a 40” flat screen TV with Netflix, Disney and Prime TV. Free WiFi. Air conditioning in the kitchen/living room. Main bedroom has a double bed, dresser, closet organizer, side chair, and a ceiling fan. Smaller bedroom has a twin over double bunk bed, dresser, wardrobe closet and portable floor fan. All linens and bedding included. Three piece bathroom with lots of towels, small soaps, toilet paper, and hotel size shampoo/conditioner. There is also a large private seasonal outdoor shower with shampoo/conditioner and soap provided. Screened sun room has a large sectional and a cupboard full of books, games, beach toys & ball gloves (2 right hand adult gloves and 1 left hand child glove) with two balls and a volleyball. There are 4 badminton racquets & shuttle cocks plus 2 weiner roasters and a long rain coat and rain pants. Fire pit has 4 chairs and lots of free split firewood. Fire starter & BBQ lighter in the sunroom cupboard. Two decks: The larger one has a table and 4 chairs. The smaller one has a bistro table and 2 chairs (the chair pads are in the sunroom). Two beach chairs are in the sunroom, a beach umbrella and beach towels are in the smaller bedroom wardrobe closet for your use.
