Whynam beach, a hidden gem that awaits travelers seeking an extraordinary escape. The ONLY way to reach us is via taxi boat ride from Haad Rin beach. NO REGULAR CARS OR SCOOTERS AROUND HERE :) We have weelky parties on the beach to entertain our guests and live music and dancing times. On FRYDAYS the new Guy's bar is playng music during the night that you can hear from the bungalow. Not suggested to reach the full moon party. Our A/C Jungle bungalows, nestled amidst the peaceful garden in the heart of the jungle at Whynam Resort. The perfect blend of nature's tranquility and modern comforts. This space is absolutely stunning and a perfect getaway. The food was delicious at the resort and the bungalow and beach area was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying to anyone. The beach was great as it was quiet and there was great swimming.
Whynam Beach liegt gute 20 Minuten mit dem Boot entfernt von Haad Rin. Es ist nur mit dem Boot erreichbar, vor Ort gibt es nur das Airbnb. Auch die Verpflegung wird durch den Host übernommen und ist recht teuer im Vergleich zum Rest der Insel. Wir mussten so ca 15 Minuten zu unserem Bungalow laufen. Teilweise über komplett unbefestigte und steile Wege. Für das Geld eigentlich unvorstellbar.
Beautiful little Jungle Home. Nice walks through nature to the different bays. Friday and Saturday you will hear the Guys Bar Music from the hill. Good party though. Thanks to Whynam Team. Had a nice week. Beach is more than beautiful and food is great! 🫶🏻
Overall we had a wonderful stay. Location: About 130m from Why Nam beach in the jungle. In fact, there are three beaches on this cut-off side of the island within walking distance (some with very steep stairs) - with Why Nam being the most beautiful beach. There is a very good restaurant on every beach (tip: Burmese Salad). Boat Taxi: Everything can get wet in strong waves and you shouldn't rely on it in terms of time. Everything here is very decelerated anyway. So plan for extra time. Accommodation: The bungalows are modern and spacious. However, a refrigerator would have been desirable. Party: The area with the three beaches is also so large that you can easily escape from the parties (Tuesday and whole Weekend at different locations). But if you like electro, you will supposedly find the best parties on the island here. With earplugs we could hardly hear anything and we were able to sleep well.

The community of people that lives here is made of all kinds of different people that appreciate living in the nature together. Especially free-spirits, hippies and yogis enjoy this place a lot.
This area is not a regular family destination, as the jungle path up and down the mountain connecting the bays can be challenging if you are not an adult in okay health.
There are a few restaurants you can reach by walking distance - why nam provides plant based food, sanctuary is a pescatarian restaurant and the other places here serve Thai as well as western food. Spice has a small food shop where you can get a limited choice of fruits, veggies and other foods.
From Samui island, you can take the Haad Rin Queen Ferry boat to the nearby beach of Haad Rin and then hop on a taxi boat to Haad Whynam. The scenic boat ride offers breathtaking views of the surrounding waters.
Alternatively, when you arrive on Koh Phangan, you can take a taxi from Thong Sala pier to Haad Rin Beach. From there, the taxi boat awaits to take you to the secluded paradise of Haad Whynam Beach.
Please note that the road to Haad Whynam is only accessible by a 4-wheel jeep taxi, as it winds through the jungle. Scooters are not suitable for this route. Embrace the unique transportation options and let the journey to Whynam getaway be part of your adventure!
